The Final Cut Pro X Associate Level exam is an online exam. In addition, many schools offer this exam to their students.
Final Cut Pro X Associate Level exam details:

  • Exam number: 9L0-809
  • Number of test questions: About 45 technical, five demographic (unscored)
  • The exam uses a random pool of multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and interactive-media questions
  • Passing score: 75 percent (scores are not rounded)
  • Exam duration: One hour

  • Limited experience with the editing process and terminology.
  • A student or someone who wants to validate entry-level skills for an entry-level job or college-level program. After you gain experience, you can take the Level One exam.

  • Entry-level understanding of Final Cut Pro X and the ability to edit a simple project, with basic operational skills to import and manage media, edit, apply effect templates, make simple color adjustments, and output a finished program.
