
The Cisco ASR 5000 GGSN Administration and Configuration version 12.2 instructor-led course offered by Learning Services provides detailed instruction on how to manage, monitor, configure, and administer the Cisco ASR 5000 to function as a Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN) in a General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and/or Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) network environment.
Understand contexts and context selection processes
Perform initial system configuration, including administrative users, hardware redundancy, and remote management functions
Perform basic data service configuration for both basic IP and PPP PDP context support
Understand and implement enhanced functionality such as:
QoS Traffic Policing
OSPF v2 Routing
Lawful Intercept
Apply software upgrades, session and feature use licenses, and configuration files
Configure bulk statistics and systems/event logging
